Two Forest Varieties

Forest Vermillion grows in an isolated section of 7-8 trees or 12-16 feet tall.
This branch tip was pruned to provide growing space to young leaves underneath.
The tea is a rich reddish mamaki with a strong flavor and perceptible mouth feel.

Forest Volcano Green is a fast growing tree, some well over 20 feet tall at Hawaii Forest Farms.
Not systematically harvested at HFF, but when pruned, branch ends produce a light. almost yellowish tea with a more grassy flavor.
